Facility Details
Correctional Health Services provides medical, dental, and mental health services for all individuals incarcerated within the Maricopa County Jail system. The Maricopa County Jail system is one of the largest in the country. CHS operates several clinics within a total of 5 jail facilities that are all within a 5 mile radius of one another.
Positions and Rates
- LPN: $25.00/hr
- RN: $32.00/hr
* Both are currently receiving an additional $5/hour hazard pay due to Covid 19
Shifts
- 10 hour
- Day/Nights
- 12 hour
- Day/Nights
- Block books are available
Location
Special Requirements
- Experience:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience in LTC/SNF, hospital or other facility setting.
- Previous experience in Corrections, Psych or Med Surg is preferred (but not required).
- Certifications:
- LPN
- RN
- Special Requirements:
- MMR
- Varicella immunization/titer.
- Candidates must be able to attend 2-3 days of classroom orientation (at a lower pay rate – $12/LPN and $18/RN), followed by 2-3 days of shadow shifts (paid at 70% of regular pay rate) before they can pick up regular shifts or take a block book.
